Yesterday The Möbius Trip had its official world premiere in front of a packed-out audience at the Glasgow Short Film Festival. Amazing positive audience reaction! And won Jury Special Mention. The jury said: “The jury gives a special mention to a film that really had a strong impact on us in its radicalism. We were very impressed by the strong and adventurous cinematic vision of the director, and their visceral film that felt like a unique and peculiar viewing experience. We are trapped with characters in a never-ending loop and final descent into madness, finding its climax in what feels like the liberation of the female gaze. We are excited by the potential of the filmmaker’s artistry, and are looking forward to her contribution to the future of female filmmaking.”
I’m so pleased! Well done cast and crew! Also huge congrats to the documentary CLEAN for winning the Scottish Short Film Award. For more on The Möbius Trip, read this lovely from Eyes for Film - “sits somewhere between Tarantino and Scotland.”

I fell in love with Phil Kieran’s new track ‘Atlantic’from The Strand Cinema album (out March 26th 2023) and was beyond grateful to be commissioned alongside 9 other filmmakers to create moving image for his album A/V show. This is what I made. Thank you to Northern Ireland Screen Archive for the use of their digital archive and to Phil for the beautiful music! To view a collection of stills from the video, click here.
